Alt-Collector is a web site dedicated to alternative collectors and their collections, a celebration of the saddest, sickest and strangest collecting bugs known to human kind.

We hope that the site will be of interest to collectors everywhere and will provide a meeting place for anyone with a collecting interest that resides somewhere out beyond left field.  We hope also that the site will be of interest to the general public (those un-afflicted members of the population), journalists and media types.
